Giancarlo Esposito - Director
Giancarlo Esposito made his directorial debut, Gospel Hill starring Danny Glover, Angela Bassett, Julia Stiles, Taylor Kitsch, and the RZA, which received a Jury Award at the 2008 Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival. Esposito is an award-winning television and stage actor whose credits include Michael Mann’s Ali, Mikael Håfström's Derailed, and Wayne Wang’s Last Holiday. He has also starred in several of Spike Lee’s films, including Do The Right Thing, School Daze, Mo’ Better Blues, and Malcolm X, as well as other feature films such as Pinero opposite Benjamin Bratt, Monkeybone opposite Brendan Frazier, and in Twilight opposite Paul Newman. Esposito has performed in 14 Broadway shows, including the recent production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with Terence Howard and James Earl Jones.
Alan Brooks - Screenwriter
An author of a children’s book and numerous screenplays over the last 10 years, Alan Brooks lives and works in Woodstock, NY. He teaches New Media Studies at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.
