Calf Roper drifts restlessly between dead end jobs, honky-tonks and hard drinking. Badger lives suspended between Cherokee traditions and the modern world. Intertwined by fate, both men seek a meaningful existence.
T.J. Morehouse - Producer, Screenwriter
T.J. Morehouse, a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation, is a 4th generation native Oklahoman now based in NYC. He has over 15 years of experience in Film, Television, Touring, Live Act, Live Event, Music Video, and Commercial production. He wrote, produced, and directed the critically acclaimed documentary Pavarotti of the Plains, which details the life and history of Texas music legend, Don Walser.
Chris Eyre - Director
Chris Eyre’s first feature, “Smoke Signals” (Sundance) won numerous awards and he was the first Native American director to receive a national theatrical release. His directing credits also include “Skins” and the PBS documentary, “We Shall Remain.”
Wes Studi - Co-Producer
Wes Studi’s acting credits include such legendary characters as Magua in Last of the Mohicans, the fearless Pawnee warrior in Dances with Wolves, Lt. Joe Leaphorn in Tony Hillerman’s PBS series, and Eytukan in James Cameron’s Avatar.
