J S Mayank - Screenwriter
Writer-Director J S Mayank’s directorial debut, a concept music video for Radiohead’s Weird Fishes / Arpeggi (London International Film Festival, Reynolda Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival) was a finalist at Cinegear Expo 2009. His most recent work is a short film entitled, Supernumerary: The Musical. Mayank has worked at the United Nations and World Health Organization writing documentary scripts and is currently completing an MFA in film production at Loyola Marymount University.

With Marathon, I set out to write a commercially viable thriller that is both an exhilarating action piece and a celebration of the city of New York. To me, the New York Marathon is, in essence, an indomitable triumph of the human spirit.
