Lucy Mulloy - Director, Screenwriter
Writer/Director Lucy Mulloy spent a year in Cuba before she was awarded the Dean's Fellowship to study her MFA at New York University. Her short films have been shown internationally and she was nominated for the Student Academy Award. 
Lucy returned to Havana for three years to develop the script for Una Noche, for which she was awarded the Spike Lee Production Grant and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Grant.

Una Noche is a modern Cuban story, set fifty years after Castro’s Revolution. We auditioned over 2, 000 teenagers in Havana searching for the lead characters. I spent two years tailoring the roles to suit their natural instincts and personalities.
